Our Story
In 1996, David Wolons moved to the Myrtle Beach area from West Boylston, Massachusetts, with a vision to build exceptional coastal homes. With many years of experience as a General Contractor, David founded Dawol Homes with a simple mission: build homes with quality and unique features for each and every homeowner.
Over the years, Dawol Homes grew steadily, earning a reputation for exceeding customer satisfaction. The company expanded beyond custom homes to offer house/lot packages, custom design services, home remodeling, and commercial construction.
When the Great Recession hit in 2008, most builders went bankrupt. Dawol Homes didn't. We kept building, kept our promises, and kept our reputation spotless. This resilience proved the strength of our business model and the trust our clients placed in us.
Today, David's daughter Krissy Mauldin leads the company as President. The successful transition from first to second generation ensures that the family values and commitment to excellence that made Dawol last will continue for decades to come. Learn more about our building process.
